SEAMLESS POLYESTER FILTER SOCK
|

This fine mesh polyester filter sock fits tightly over your slotted screen and is designed to allow water to pass through while preventing fine sand from entering the well screen. The material is 100% knitted polyester, which is more inert and resistant to acids and oxidation degradation than nylon or most other spun bonded materials. It is available in continuous lengths up to a full 100 foot coil. The filter sock has a pore size of 250 microns, and a flow rate of approximately 250 gallons per minute, per square foot of area.. Filter sock is easily attached to your screen with nylon cable ties. |

2" OCTOPUS WELL SCREEN

If you have ever had to re-drill a well after the PVC pipe came up when the auger was withdrawn, Octopus brand well retainers are your solution. They resist the buoyancy effects of groundwater when pushing monitoring pipe through the drilling auger. Octopus well retainers are made to fit over the male end of the well screen, and are held in place once the point is screwed over the end. As the well screen is pushed through the auger, the legs fold backward. Once the Octopus is pushed past the end of the auger, the legs flip back out straight and hold the well in place, much like a wall anchor expands once it is through a wall. Made of inert polyethylene, Octopus well retainers have the propere flexibility, even at very low temperatures. They've been tested and shown not to contribute any volatile organic compounds or petroleum hydrocarbons to groundwater samples. | |
