NEW CONSTANT PRESSURE
4" SUBMERSIBLE PUMPS
|
| Flint & Walling is proud to introduce
the NEW Commander Pro Constant Pressure Water System series of Stainless Steel submersible pumps. This technologically advanced product will produce constant water pressure when used on rural water well water systems. Conventional water systems use a constant speed motor to intermittently fill a medium to large pressurized storage tank. The Commander Pro submersibles feature a variable speed Franklin Electric motor and special electronic control. The variable speed motor generates and maintains a constant pressure while delivering the maximum amount of water that the system can produce. |

| Commander Pro
operates similarly to the cruise control on your car. Once the speed is
set, the engine is electronically controlled to maintain that speed. The F&W system
maintains a constant pressure so there is no more pressure cycling between 30 psi, 40 psi
and 50 psi from your well pump. When more water is required, the pump runs faster, and
when less water is needed, the pump runs slower. The Commander Pro system requires only a small pressure tank, as small as 4.8 gallon tank volume. This eliminates the need for large pressure tanks, making the constant pressure system a more cost efficient system for your well. The electronic controller provides diagnostics against a variety of typical application hazards. You are protected against Rapid Cycling or water logged tank problems, short circuit to motor, under voltage, pump overload caused by clogging with sand or silt, and from running dry. |

How does the constant pressure water system work? |
| The CP SubDrive Water Controller is the heart of the system. As water
passes through the water line, the water pressure is sampled several times a second
by the pressure controller which signals a microprocessor to control the pump,
by speeding up or slowing down the motor, much
like your cruise control on your car works. The controller is factory set at 50
psi, and can be adjusted to a range of 30 psi thru 70 psi, with the turn of a
screw located inside the pressure switch controller. |
|
What are the benefits of the Constant Pressure Pump? |
| The Commander Pro series provides steady
"city-like" water pressure, which does not fluctuate like normal rural well systems do. Space limitations are solved by not needing a large pressure tank to make the system work correctly. A tank as small as 4.8 gallon can be used to control the system. Unit has a softer start which eliminates brown outs and dimming of lights when the pump system starts. Built-in Diagnostics will detect a system problem when it exists, and take the corrective actions to correct it, such as removing power to the motor. Once the problem is corrected, the system will restart itself. Power and Fault lights on the control make it easy for you to know the status of your system. |

Do Not use a GFCI with
a SubDrive |
| According to Franklin Electric, use of a
GFCI on a SubDrive Controller will cause the GFCI to trip on start up and the
motor will not run. |
